I am incredibly excited to share this blog post with you!
I was sent this beautiful package from a wonderful company called 'Cable & Cotton'. They are a wonderful company that offer multiple products to the public, with fantastic service and morals. The online website and store, offer incredible service. The website online includes different categories including 'about us', 'the product range' and 'inspiration'. It captures you from the moment you view the website.
Not only do I love the products and service Cable & Cotton provide, but I also love the fact their suppliers are paid well, in excellent working conditions in Thailand, where they provide all year round income for the workers. So not only does this reflect on the company itself, but it's also a very heart warming feeling knowing that, we as customers, have supported these fantastic craftsman. What is there not to love about this company!?
So, I was sent 20 bulb fairy lights from the 'choose your own colour' range.
I was sent the set of 20 bulb fairy lights. These retail at £22.95. I chose to design my own, but choosing my own colours. However you do have the option to purchase pre chosen colour sets. The colours I picked were the following: pale pink, flash pink, lilac, plum and pale blue.
The handmade colourful orbs are very saturated with colour. They would look decorative even when switched off! They really brighten up any room, and act as a statement piece. You can feel the quality of them as soon as you hold them. They are hand crafted with love and it shows that great care has been taken to perfect each little beauty. I love the colour range that's available to you, and I was really spoilt for choice! the perfect thing about having the option to choose your own colours, Is that you can match the colours of the room to the orbs, whilst adding a pop of colour. In total you have 49 colours to pick from. This ranges from pinks to reds, with pales to bights. Believe me when I say its hard to pick between the colours!
As you can see from the images below, each strand is cradled by another. They have a hole in the product to insert the plug in fairy light bulbs. They also have a small insertion that helps with the assembly of the product. (assembly can be seen below). It's the simple things!
You can also purchase room lights, replacement bulbs and other accessories! In the fairy lights section, you can choose from 20, 35 or 50 lights!
The packaging of these beauties, was just the cherry on top. Everything was secure in the attractive box, which was labelled with the brand. The product originally had a circular piece that fitted into the box so that the orbs weren't visible - making it a surprise when you remove it. Of course I removed mine in a hurry and didn't a happy scream! On the left side, all of the orbs are placed securely and safely in the box. On the right side, it contains the plug in fairy lights, and instructions.
The delivery of the product was so fast, I cannot even explain! First class and tracked with regular updates on the progress of my package.
The service - Cable and Cotton have a fantastic service towards every customer. They are warm and friendly and very helpful, aiding the success of their business. They are also very reliable, attentive and will reply to your emails which is something other companies fail to do.
Below are instructions supplied. They are very easy to read, understandable, clear and concise. The inclusion of diagrams are also a lovely effect for the more visual learners like myself.
Follow the first few instructions, and when you arrive at the point of placing the light fitting into the orb, it takes a simple yet effective technique. If you use too much force the product may squish (yet can be easily reconstructed back into shape). This small little stopper as shown below needs to be pushed delicately into the orb. once completely invisible, this stopper will essential prevent the light fitting from backtracking out of the orb. (can be seen below)
And it's as simple as that! And you will eventually create something beautiful like these below. I created a standardised pattern with mine starting with pinks to the plum to the purple and blue.
I've temporarily hung mine above my makeup station (which is no where near complete). It just makes me smile as I walk into the room. They are stunning turned on and off!
Cable and Cotton are a brand that have found a niche in the market with their option to create your own colours or buy a pre made set. The orbs are the most beautiful colours that are sure to brighten up any room. I love how magical it makes the room feel. These pastel tones really suit my room. No matter what colour, these lights are universal and will work in every room. And to top it off, Cable and Cotton offer excellent service that will be sure to please you. I am going to be purchasing more for the inside of my wardrobe! - Even my mum wants some of these lights!
And ultimately... I love it when a company sticks to their promise. In this case, Cable and Cotton state that they can add a splash of colour to your life, and it's certainly proved that.
