Spring Appropriate

So I have a fascination with bold colour under the eye. It's a big hit this spring as it truly does make your eyes pop! I was inspired by spring in general. The dewy gold eye with a pop of lilac with a white eyeliner to give that fresh, spring look.

The look

Get the look:
  1. Apply Elf's Long lasting eye shadow on the lid (Review in my blog) in shade toast. It has quite a damp texture so no primer Is needed. It's pigment is fantastic too!
  2. I then patted Elf's baked eye shadow in enchanted on top to give it more of a compact and full dewy eye. The baked eyeshadow also has speckles of pink so this will marry well with the purple underneath the eye.
  3. Using Elf's Studio eye shadow in shade sunset, apply this as your transition colour. It's a beautiful orange colour that will warm up your face as well as ensuring you are bang on trend with the 'orange' colour trending in the makeup industry. This also works incredibly well with the gold as they blend in well together.
  4. Apply MUA's Eyeshadow in shade 18 to the lower lash line. This is going to give you that pop of colour that really will make your eyes stand out!
  5. Using a liquid eyeliner, mine is from ELF, draw a subtle cat flick or whatever you desire.
  6. Coat your lashes with mascara and add a pair of natural looking eyelashes to make this a day look, or add thicker eyelashes to make this an evening look.
  7. Add a white eyeliner to the water line and tight line to make sure your eyes stand out and look fresh and awake. TIP: White eyeliner opens the eye whereas black will close the eye.
  8. I've applied miss sporty's lipstick in the shade of innocence. This gives a real baby doll look, and it also matches well with the purple as they are both pastel colours. The lasting power of this lipstick is not that great however they do give a great look!
