Barry M Dazzle Dust Review - Little pots of joy!

Hello all!
Bit of personal info - I have finished my first year of UNI, and I am free for 5 months! im a free bitch baby! So im back blogging and vlogging as much as possible! *personal life chat over in 5 seconds*

So I was cleaning through my new makeup set up and I left the worst til last. The eyeshadow box. Now if you are very much like me, I hoard makeup as it is, but eyeshadow is my worst enemy when it comes to cleaning it all out. I think it's because you can have soooo many different shades of 1 colour, and it's so hard to store them. However, I come across 4 little pots of just pure heaven: Barry M's dazzle dust. I wanted to show you my very small, but beautiful collection.

BACKGROUND INFO

Description: Loose Powdered Eye shadow. A spectacular collection of breath taking loose highly pearlised powder available in a profusion of colours, to enhance your eyes, cheeks or lips
Price: £4.59 (05/2014)

Weight: Not stated.

Base product? This product works best with NYX jumbo pencil In milk. The white pigment of the pencil brings out the colour in the barry m pigments. However, an alternative would be white face paint... A primer works great too! You can see how pigmented these shadows are without any base!

Review

PETROL BLACK

This colour is just sensational!! Packed with mainly purple undertones, but theres still blue and similar darker tones shining through. Works incredibly well with a light purple or blue base, with this in the crease and outer V- they both bring out the colours. Gorgeous colour, with a twist!

Iridescent

Definitely a pure white shimmery colour. This is perfect for under the eye, or even in the tear ducts to bring out the colours in your eyes and making your eyes appear larger!

Black gold

Another stunning colour with a twist. This is a pure carbon black colour with freckles of gold. This works well with any bronze/gold colour. However, I think this shadow is universal as it can be used to smoke out any shadow design, whilst having that touch of gold glitter to bring the shadow alive.

Burgundy Noir

This colour is going to be hot for summer '14. I am going to be making so much use of this shadow. It works incredibly well with pink, bronze and gold colours to really warm up the tone of your face. It works well with ANY eye colour, and therefore this is my favourite shadow.  It can be used in the crease, to slightly smoke out the outer V or even as a base colour with a lighter pink in the tear duct. It's slight pink undertones really give that girly look!

I will be making a blogpost/youtube video using 1 of these colours... which one would you like to see? Which one is your favourite? Are these products dupes for any expensive brands?

xoxo
